New to Yoga?

First thing first, yoga is not a religion, and it’s not a trendy way to exercise!

Yoga has many physical, spiritual, and mental benefits. There are many different types of styles of yoga but at Warrior One Winter Garden-Windermere, we practice Baptiste Yoga ™. We share the mission to uplift, empower, inspire, and create a sense of connection and community, and our vision is to empower each individual to live their most extraordinary life.

Our practice includes a combination of physical yoga practice, meditation, and active self-inquiry. The technique is used as a tool of transformation encouraging participants to reclaim their full potential, discover creativity, awaken passion, and create authenticity, confidence and new possibilities. 

You do not need to stand on your head to be part of our yoga class! Be part of a “non-guru” environment. Do consider, however, to come in as comfortable as you can. You don’t even need to bring shoes since yoga is practice barefoot!

Most studios require students to bring towels and a yoga mat, but at our studio, you are not required to since we provide these items for you. Do consider bringing a water bottle.

If you cannot do a certain pose, don’t stress! Our teachers will instruct you on how to modify certain poses until you are ready to perform the full pose.
